Come and explore the eye- brain connection in an interactive seminar with Dr. Slotnick. Learn how to reduce visual stress and enjoy more efficient, effective use of your own vision, at any age. 

Learn how to assess, test for and distinguish visual conditions that keep some individuals from engaging in sustained, visually-centered activities.  You’ll have an opportunity to practice tests on other participants and ask about your own concerns.

 ==== Vision Symptoms Checklist ====

  • Short attention span for reading

  • Interrupt computer work with frequent breaks, snacks, distractions

  • Must re-read material to understand it.

  • Skip or re-reads words or lines

  • Takes “hours” to do a 30 minute project

  • Cover one eye while reading

  • Easily distracted, especially during near work

  • Squint, especially when shifting focus between near and far

  • Get sleepy when reading

  • Clumsy, trip on carpets, brush door edges when walking
